HeritageDialogues 26.07 - 4.08.2024 are international and interdisciplinary creative workshops dedicated to coastal landscapes of Nordland - Givær islands, Ljønes and Skjerstad village, Sami Käsmo village and around. Workshops for heritage experts and locals, architects, photographers, artists and historians conclude with Open Festival Days for a wider audience. Participants of the workshops deal and resonate specifically with the place's heritage - its nature and culture, past and present, histories and people, buildings and lifestyles, handicrafts and arts, voices and music - klang of coastal culture. HeritageDialogues Open Festival days consist of lectures, walks, practical works, performances and arts, music and poetry for the wider audience. The livestreaming, videos, photos and films made during the workshops enable worldwide public access. The HeritageDialogues week starts with the Festival Day in Bodö library on 26.07. The launch event takes place on 30.01 at Jektefartsmuseet.
