Learn the art of baking the Sami bread 'laejpie' and gain insight into their life in harmony with nature!

At Storli Gård, just 20 minutes from Mo i Rana station, the couple Toamma and Anne Berit will welcome you and guide you to your overnight stay. After a tour of the area, Aernie will provide some private time while preparing the evening meal. Explore the nature trail to Lapplia or relax in their 'luxury tent' before a delightful 3-course dinner is served in cozy surroundings.

The farm, dating back to 1804 and spanning seven generations of Sami heritage and farming culture, offers an authentic experience. Dive into the farm's history and Sami traditions. The culinary experience is memorable, with highlights such as rengakaka, reindeer meat, and the baking of the Sami bread 'laejpie' for lunch.

After a good night's sleep, a breakfast basket awaits by your bedside, featuring local ingredients. After check-out, the hosts will take you on a journey into South Sami culture. A unique experience includes serving, self-cooking, lasso throwing, and concludes with a memorable joik. After the activity, transportation will be ready to take you to the station for your next adventure along the Nordlandsbanen.
